Impact of Giving

By supporting CHES, you are supporting the education and training of our future doctors and health care professionals. Your involvement can help to build new knowledge through research, train and support tomorrow’s educational leaders, and build capacity for mentorship, collaboration, and educational innovation.

Support Excellence in Research

CHES conducts original research to advance theory and develop practical approaches for more effective selection, training, and assessment of health professionals. Your gift will help lay the groundwork for further excellence and innovation in the education of our health care professionals.

Support Outstanding Trainees

CHES supports the next generation of health professions scholars, scientists, and teachers. In addition to mentoring and supporting postdoctoral fellows, PhD and master’s students, CHES has trained over 30 fellows in our Clinical Educator Fellowship Program. Developing skill and knowledge in health education scholarship, each of our fellows contribute 600 hours to teaching medical and allied health students. Your gift will help fund their training, development, and innovative research in health professions education.

Support Education Initiatives & Programs

CHES builds capacity for collaboration between the health professions disciplines, mentors emerging leaders and educators, and offers programs and events designed to critically examine health professions education research. Your gift will help to ensure that programs and events like the Educators Leadership Program, the Visiting Scholars Program, and CHES’ Annual Celebration of Scholarship will continue to flourish and provide meaningful connections and resources for the health professions education community.
